Cape Town Spurs midfielder Keagan Buchanan says his duty as a seasoned player is to bring out the best in his fellow teammates.
The 31-year-old joined the Urban Warriors in July last year after parting ways with AmaZulu.
Buchanan has since featured 13 times across all competitions for the club, bringing a wealth of experience having previously played for Bloemfontein Celtic, Kaizer Chiefs, Maritzburg United, and most recently AmaZulu.
The Cape Town-born midfielder is hoping that his experience can help benefit the team as they look to maintain their top-flight status this season.
“Being a more experienced player, I’ll be there to help them adapt, try to help players,” Buchanan told his club’s official website.
“My game is to bring out the best in other people.”
Cape Town Spurs will resume DStv Premiership action when they take on Moroka Swallows at Athlone Stadium on March 31.
Kick-off has been set for 15:30pm.
