Cape Town Spurs midfielder Keagan Buchanan has urged his side to keep fighting until the end of the season.

The Urban Warriors recently claimed their first win in the DStv Premiership securing a 2-1 victory over Orlando Pirates at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town.

Lubeni Haukongo and Jarrod Moroole cancelled out Evidence Makgopa’s 44th minute goal to secure the win and maximum points.

Buchanan is confident that his side will do enough to survive in the DStv Premiership.

“For us, that’s been here for years, it’s to encourage the younger ones and try to make it easy because I mean, coming into the league, it’s not a nice way, you come in and you lose eight games,” Buchanan told his club’s official website.

“So we need to put in that mindset that they are good enough and that we can go on survive.”
