Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of winger Kayden Francis ahead of the 2024–25 season.
The 21-year-old has joined the Citizens on a four-year contract after they agreed terms with Chippa United.

Francis made his debut for the Chilli Boys in November 2020 at the age of 16 and has since gone on to feature 20 times for the club while scoring four goals in the process.
He now becomes the Citizens’ second signing after the arrival of Haashim Domingo, who joined the club after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Francis, who is the nephew of former Ajax Cape Town and Santos defender Duran, made his DStv Premiership debut as a 16-year-old in November 2020, but it was only last season he became a regular at Chippa.
