Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that the club have parted ways with midfielder Kamohelo Mahlatsi by mutual consent.
The 25-year-old joined Amakhosi from Moroka Swallows in 2022 and has featured in seven appearances for the club across all competitions.
Mahlatsi’s contract has since been terminated by Chiefs and he is now free to join a club of his choosing.
Over the course of his career, Mahlatsi has scored four goals and registered two assists in 77 appearances playing for the likes of SuperSport United, Ubuntu Cape Town, University of Pretoria, Moroka Swallows and most recently Kaizer Chiefs.
“Kamohelo has given his best at all times while a Chiefs player and, following consultation with his representatives, we decided to release him with a view to him finding more regular game time somewhere else,” said the Club’s Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr.
“We appreciate his efforts and wish him all of the best for the future.”
