Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of Angolan forward Jó Paciência on a permanent deal ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The 27-year-old centre forward joins the Citizens on a permanent deal from Angolan outfit GD Interclube.
The Angolan centre forward has managed to find the back of the net on 26 occasions in 67 league matches in his four-year stint at his former club.
Paciência becomes one of three new singings for the Citizens behind former TS Galaxy midfielder Tshegofatso Nyama and Ramazani Tshimanga of DR Congo.
“Very impressed with what we saw, quite an explosive striker, technically good and a natural goal scorer. With the brand of football we try to play, he’s the right fit for the club and I think he’ll do very very well,” Tinkler said.
