Cape Town City have officially announced the signing of striker Thabiso Kutumela from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Kutumela joined Sundowns from Maritzburg United at the start of the 2021/22 season and went on to make 38 appearances across all competitions while contributing to 11 goals including five goals and six assists.
The 30-year-old won four trophies during his time at Sundowns including two DStv Premiership titles, one Nedbank Cup and a MTN8 trophy.
The forward will bring a wealth of experience, having previously played for Baroka FC, Orlando Pirates, Maritzburg and most recently Sundowns.
Over the course of his career, Kutumela has scored 36 goals and registered 13 assists in 146 appearances in all competitions.
Kutumela will now add to coach Eric Tinkler’s attacking options alongside the likes of Khanyisa Mayo and Juan Camilo Zapata.
