Cape Town City have parted ways with midfielder Thato Mokeke by mutual agreement.
The 33-year-old joined the club from Chippa United back in January 2019.
Mokeke has gone on to feature 171 times for the Citizens while scoring one goal and registering six assists in two stints with the club.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Cape Town City Football Club for the years we shared together. I wish you the best for the rest of the season,” Mokoke wrote on social media.
Mokeke is now a free agent and is welcome to join a team of his choosing.
“Cape Town City has agreed to part ways with Thato Mokeke by mutual agreement,” City posted on social media.
“We thank Thato for his incredible contribution throughout the years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
