Cape Town Spurs striker Ashley Cupido felt he could have done more during the first half of the DStv Premiership season.
The Urban Warriors currently sit at the foot of the DStv Premiership table with four points from 16 matches, having won one, drew one and conceded 14 defeats.
The 22-year-old has only missed three league games this season while scoring three goals and registering one assist in 13 matches.
Cupido is now focused on getting back to his best, working on his mental strength and scoring more goals during the remainder of the season.
“I don’t think anyone in the team has had a good run of form lately, especially myself, I could have done more,” Cupido told his club’s official website.
“Coach Ernst is tough, he’s demanding a lot from us as players and to bring out the best of us.
“I know what the coach wants and for me as a player, I just have to stay focused when it comes to match day or training and stick to the game plan.
“We have to believe in ourselves, the team and the coach. Getting here wasn’t easy and staying here is not going to be easy.”
