AmaZulu interim head coach Ayanda Dlamini says his side are looking to bounce back in the Dstv Premiership as they prepare for their upcoming clash against SuperSport United at the TUT Stadium on Sunday evening.
Usuthu are looking to return to winning ways in the league after they came from behind to earn a point following their 2-2 draw against Cape Town City when Bongi Ntuli and Augustine Chidi Kwem cancelled out goals from Khanyisa Mayo and Darwin González at Cape Town Stadium on April 9.
SuperSport, meanwhile, will look to claim back to back victories in the league after they clinched a 2-0 victory over TS Galaxy thanks to goals from Siphesihle Ndlovu and Bradley Grobler at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday, April 7.
Dlamini has stressed the importance of walking away with a point against the Citizens but is looking to claim maximum points when they travel to SuperSport on Sunday evening.
“This point feels like a win because we came back from 2-0 down. The fighting spirit that they showed will take us far and it is a very important point,” Dlamini told his club’s official website.
“To come down to Cape Town and get this point from 2-0 down, the morale and spirit of the players will be lifted because going into the next one, you can see that they want to fight.
“We have very difficult games coming up, SuperSport [United] is next. So, we will take positives from this one and go back and fix what we feel should have been done better.”
