Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Keagan Dolly is relishing the chance to bounce back and return to winning ways when they take on Golden Arrows in the DStv Premiership on Saturday.
The Glamour Boys’ journey in the Carling Knockout Cup came to an end last weekend after they fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of AmaZulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Amakhosi will now turn their attention back to the DStv Premiership when they take on Golden Arrows at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammarsdale.
Dolly believes that defeating Arrows and walking away with all three points will give his side the momentum they need to turn their season around.
“Obviously we are disappointed from our last game and not qualifying for the next round of the Carling Cup, but I think this is an important weekend for us,” Dolly told his club’s official website.
“We have to come back and not dwell on the past. If we can win this weekend we can change our mindset and start winning.”
“It has been a tough week for the Club. For us as players, we have to do our job, which is to win, to get results for the Club, and for ourselves to build confidence for the rest of the season.
“I feel there is still a long way to go, and that’s why I think this weekend is very important because a win can give us momentum for the remainder of the season.”
