Kaizer Chiefs defender Edmilson Dove admits that facing TS Galaxy will be a “difficult” match but believes they can walk away with maximum points in Nelspruit.
The Glamour Boys will be looking for back to back wins in the DStv Premiership when they take on the Rockets at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday.
Amakhosi come into this fixture sitting in fifth place on the league table with 27 points after 18 matches played so far this season.
After recently returning to winning ways, Dove is confident that his side can clinch a victory away from home as he believes they have the capability to win their remaining league games.
“I’m feeling good, pumped as always, getting ready for the next game,” Dove told his club’s official website.
Prior to the game I suffered a fractured finger, so I had to strap it up to give it some support. But now I have gone for surgery, which went well. It’s nothing that will keep me off the field so I am hoping to be there on Sunday.
“I didn’t know about that, but for us, as Kaizer Chiefs, when we step onto the field we intend to win every game no matter which opponent we are facing.
“This is going to be one of those games that we are going out to win. We know it will be a difficult match but we have been preparing very well and have assimilated all the information the coach has given us regarding TS Galaxy, so we are aiming to go there and get maximum points.”
