Cape Town Spurs new signing Tremaine Eastmond says he is relishing the chance to make an impact at the club after making the move from AFC Blackpool.
The 20-year-old has officially signed for the Urban Warriors after he parted ways with English side AFC Blackpool.
The English-born youngster is a product of the Burnley FC Academy and has also played for the likes of Burnley Under-18, Prestwich Heys and Abbey Hey.
Eastmond is eager to hit the ground running at his new club as they prepare to face Stellenbosch FC in their next DStv Premiership encounter on Saturday, October 28.
“I want to make an impact,” Eastmond told his club’s official website.
“My goal is to be a consistent starter for the team and to score goals. I want to contribute to the success of the club.
“The football here (in SA) is a lot more physical. It is very intense for long periods of time. The are also a lot bigger and stronger here.”

Eastmond’s signing is one of the first transactions made by the club’s new Technical Director Sean Connor, who is delighted to have him on board.
“It wasn’t an easy deal to get over the line, but delighted Termain is here,” said Connor. “I am confident that over a short period of time, he will make an impact.
“He comes from a good background; he is a good technical player and understands the game.”
