Former Kaizer Chiefs and Royal AM striker Samir Nurkovic has completed his move to fellow DStv Premiership outfit TS Galaxy.
The 31-year-old has been without a club since he was released by Royal AM back in October last year.
Nurkovic was heavily linked with a move to Cape Town City at the end of last season but they opted against signing the striker after which he trained with Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca for weeks and featured in their friendly against the Qatari side Al Sadd.
The striker has also previously played for Amakhosi where he made 78 appearances while scoring 21 goals and registering 10 assists in the process.
The Serbian international put an end to speculation surrounding his future after putting pen to paper on a one-year deal and an option to extend when his contract runs out in May 2024.
“We welcome Samir Nurkovic to the Rockets family. Nurkovic has signed until May 2024 with the option to extend his contract at the end of the season,” the club stated.
