AmaZulu coach Pablo Franco Martin knows there is a lot of expectations but is confident that he can “achieve great things with the club.”
The Spanish tactician was recently appointed as the new head coach of Usuthu after signing a 36-month-long deal ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The 43-year-old arrive in South Africa on Thursday and received a warm welcome at the King Shaka International Airport in Durban.
Franco Martin brings a wealth of experience and most notably is a former assistant coach of Real Madrid and the Spanish coach is confident he can achieve great things with the club.
“We are going to work very hard. I promise good things for the team,” Franco Martin told his club’s official website.
“I’m really happy. I was not expecting this beautiful welcome with all these people here and the club’s president [Sandile Zungu].
“I’m coming here with a lot of expectations for the next seasons. I’m already feeling at home and I think we will achieve great things with the club.
“Hopefully, I will have more time with the club. I feel this is the real club for me.”
