Uruguayan winger Gaston Sirino has penned a heartfelt message to the Mamelodi Sundowns supporters following his exit from the club.

Sirino was one of four players who parted ways with the club alongside the likes of Bongani Zungu, Brian Onyango and Thabiso Kutumela.

The 33-year-old joined Sundowns in January 2018 and went on to score 41 goals and registered 44 assists in 202 appearances in all competitions.

Sirino since taken to Instagram to pen a farewell message to the club.

“Yellow Nation, thank you for all these years that we were together, for the love you gave me from the first day I arrived. Not only to me but to my family as well and that will always remain in my heart,” he wrote.

“THANK YOU to the Motsepe family for making me stay in the history of this beautiful club.

“THANK YOU, SIRINO”
