Kaizer Chiefs returned to winning ways after they clinched a narrow 1-0 victory over Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Thursday.

A decisive goal by Ashley Du Preez was enough to see the Soweto giants secure maximum points away from home to put them in contention of a Caf Champions League place.

The win sees Aamkhosi remain in fourth place in the DStv Premiership standings with 44 points after 27 games, while the Chilli Boys are placed 15th on the log with 26 points from 27 matches.
