Kaizer Chiefs closed the gap on second placed SuperSport United following their thrilling 3-2 victory over Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday.

The Glamour Boys claimed their fourth consecutive victory across all competitions thanks to goals from Keagan Dolly, Christian Basomboli and Yusuf Maart, while Mogamad De Goede and Amadou Soukounagot on the scoresheet for the Team of Choice.

The win sees Amakhosi remain in fourth place on the table with 37 points and trail second placed SuperSport by two points.
