Mamelodi Sundowns were forced to endure a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wydad Casablanca in their African Football League final first leg on Sunday.
Wydad opened the scoring through an own goal by Rivaldo Coetzee before Abdelmounaim Boutouil levelled matters from the penalty spot but Anas Serrhat put the game beyond Sundowns with a 78th minute winner at the Stade Mohammed V.
