Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach Steve Komphela says he is determined to help the team succeed on a domestic and continental front.

The 57-year-old recently returned to the club after he parted ways as the head coach of Golden Arrows.

Komphela will now serve as senior coach and will assist head coach Manqoba Mngqithi and the technical team.

The Kroonstad-born mentor will join the Brazilians when they travel to Austria as part of their pre-season preparations.

Komphela is excited to be back at the club and is relishing the chance to help the club progress and succeed ahead of the 2024-25 season.

“I am very excited to be back at Mamelodi Sundowns where I was always inspired and treated with respect and love,” Komphela told his club’s official website.

“I am committed to contributing to the club’s achieving its goals in South Africa and on the African continent.”
