Kaizer Chiefs defender Zitha Kwinika says he is delighted to be a regular starter in the team and get valuable minutes under his belt.
Kwinika has made four appearances in eight matches, having appeared three times in the DStv Premiership and once in the MTN8 competition so far this season.
Over the past two seasons, the defender has been deployed in the right-back position rather than his position in the heart of the defence.
The 29-year-old admits he has adapted to his new position at right-back as it adds versatility to his skill set.
“I’m in good shape and happy to be getting minutes, which is boosting me in terms of confidence, fitness and readiness,” Kwinika told his club’s official website.
“I have actually played the majority of my PSL games at right back, probably for two seasons, so I am familiar with that position but I think it’s good to be adaptable and play a few positions, which is an advantage to being able to help the team when required.”
