SuperSport United’s new signing Zakhele Lepasa is relishing the chance to prove his worth during his stay with the Tshwane giants.
The 26-year-old made the move to Matsatsantsa from DStv Premiership rivals Orlando Pirates on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Lepasa opted to make the switch after he fell out of favour under coach Jose Riveiro after only featuring 13 times for the Buccaneers this season.
The Pirates academy graduate brings a wealth of experience, having won the Nedbank Cup with TS Galaxy before securing a move to Pirates as well as winning the MTN8 trophy with the club in 2020-21 and 2022-23.
The Bafana Bafana attacker is looking forward to turning out for his new club and repaying the faith they have shown in him.
“I am very excited to be here and I’m hoping to add value in the team, especially upfront and getting results,” Lepasa told his new club’s official website.
“I am looking forward to meeting the Matsatsantsa fans this weekend when we play Cape Town City and I promise to give my all during my stay.”
