Orlando Pirates returned to winning ways in the DStv Premiership after securing a 1-0 win over Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Evidence Makgopa netted his fifth league goal of the campaign after he headed the ball from after receiving a brilliant cross from Deon Hotto in the 68th minute as Pirates walked away with all three points.

The win sees Pirates move up to fourth place on the log with 29 points from 18 games, while Polokwane are placed ninth on the table with 24 points from 18 matches.
