New Orlando Pirates midfielder Makhehlene Makhaula admits that signing for the Buccaneers is a “dream come true” following his move from AmaZulu.

The Buccaneers announced the capture of Makhaula from Usuthu after putting pen to paper on a one-and-a-half-year contract.

The 33-year-old has made 17 appearances this season for AmaZulu and has racked up a total of 83 appearances across all competition for Usuthu.

The Randfontein- born midfielder has since expressed his delight at joining the Buccaneers.

“I am so happy to have signed for one of the biggest clubs in the country. It’s a dream come true for me,” Makhaula told his new club’s official website.

“I am looking forward to meeting up with my new teammates and helping the Club move towards reaching their objectives.

“As I begin a new chapter in my career, I cannot do so without paying homage to my former club. To the entire board, the technical team, my teammates and the supporters of Usuthu, thank you all for everything you have done for me.”
