Chippa United coach Morgan Mammila believes that Mamelodi Sundowns are “easy to play and plan against” ahead of the upcoming DStv Premiership fixture against the Brazilians on Tuesday evening.
The Chilli Boys will come into this fixture looking to bounce back following their 2-0 defeat to Swallows FC at the Dobsonville Stadium this past weekend.
Sundowns, meanwhile, are high in confidence as they look for their 10th straight win in the league after they comfortably beat Richards Bay 2-0 at the Dobsonville Stadium in Durban.
Mammila, whose side currently sits in ninth place on the log with 19 points, is confident that his side can end Sundowns’ winning run when they meet in Pretoria.
“Sundowns is the simplest team to play against,” Morgan Mammila was quoted on SuperSport saying.
“Even a DDC player will tell you how they play. They are easy to play and plan against.
“But the only difference is that they are mastering the system. I hear people talking about their depth and quality. No! There’s no such thing. Half of those players at Sundowns were fighting relegation.
“I don’t even need to do a video session when I am playing them. When they lose or have the ball, all of them are marking or all of them are opening up. There’s no star there.”
The match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium is scheduled to kick off at 19:30.
