Maritzburg United have announced the signing of former Stellenbosch FC captain Rafiq De Goede. on a free transfer.
De Goede joins the Team of Choice following his shocking exit from Stellies, despite being named as their captain at he beginning of the current season.
The 29-year-old was previously on the books at Vaso Da Gama and Stellies and has managed to claim five assists in 65 appearances across all competitions in the top flight.
The Team of Choice roped in the former Stellies skipper to bolster their squad as they attempt to find a way out of the relegation zone as they currently sit at the foot of the DStv Premiership table with just 11 points from 16 matches.
