AmaZulu coach Pablo Franco Martin says his side are fighting to secure top-eight finish in the DStv Premiership with two games remaining in the season.
Usuthu will come into this fixture off the back of a 1-1 draw against Kaizer Chiefs when Victor Letsoalo cancelled out Ashley Du Preez’s opening goal at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday
The draw leaves Usuthu in 12th place in the league standings with 33 points after 28 games, while Amakhosi remain in eighth place with 35 points after 28 matches, with two games remaining this season.
Martin believes his side are “realistic” still within a chance of finishing in the top-eight of the DStv Premiership this season.
“We are alive in the fight for the top-eight, which I think is something realistic for the club for this season,” Martin told his club’s official website.
“I’m happy with that and looking forward to the next game. We need to make decisions in the best way possible.”
“Our intention is to try to collect as many points as possible, I think we don’t depend on us to finish in the top eight but if we get the points then we will still have that chance.”
