Orlando Pirates forward Patrick Maswanganyi says he wants to make history with the Buccaneers by assisting the club to win more trophies.
The 25-year-old made the move to the Soweto giants from SuperSport United where he assisted four goals in 23 appearances across all competitions during the 2022-23 season.
The Tembisa-born winger has already contribute and impressive during pre-season with Pirates, having scored in his last two friendly matches against Maccabi Tel Aviv and Independiente del Valle.
Maswanganyi has already hit the ground running but has stressed the importance of representing the Buccaneers with pride while touch on his objective to contribute to goals to help the club on a domestic and continental front.
“Playing for the team means a lot. Orlando Pirates is not just any club,” Maswanganyi told his clubs official website.
“It is not only big in the country but also in the continent. The team has a rich history and I also want to be a part of that history by assisting the club win more trophies.
“I want to score goals for the team, more so because I have not scored any goal since I started playing in the DStv Premiership.”
