Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Tashreeq Matthews has his eyes set on winning the Caf Champions League title with the Brazilians this season.
The Brazilians secured a 1-0 victory over TP Mazembe in their Group A clash in the CAF Champions League to round off the group stages.
As a result, Sundowns finished at the top of the Group A standings with 13 points after six matches during the group stages.
Sundowns will now turn their attention back to the DStv Premiership when they take on TS Galaxy at the Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday evening
Matthew is relishing the chance to once again showcase his talent in the Champions League but would like to see his side go all in the continental competition.
“I’m adjusting pretty well, I’m getting there slowly but surely but I’m getting there as fast as I can,” Matthew told Sundowns TV.
“You always have to do better than the year before, so this year we have to go past the semi-final, into the final and obviously win the final as well.
“Obviously it’s hard for us to be here number one on the log, it gives us an advantage”
