Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sipho Mbule says they are “building immortality” and want to go unbeaten in the DStv Premiership this season.
The Brazilians are scheduled to face Stellenbosch FC in their next league encounter set to be played at Athlone Stadium on Saturday.
Sundowns will come into this fixture after securing a 2-0 win over Royal AM thanks to goals from Peter Shalulile and Lesiba Nku at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday.
Sundowns have now extended their unbeaten run to 51 matches in the DStv Premiership, having already won the league title.
Mbule, who was named Man of the Match, is confident that Sundowns can finish the campaign with suffering a defeat.
“What keeps us going is that we’re building immortality so I think we want to win the league without any loss, I think that keeps us going,” Mbule told Sundowns TV.
“With the players that you have and the football that we are playing, I think we can (go unbeaten).”
