Cape Town Spurs coach Ernst Middendorp was full of praise for his side after they secured their second consecutive victory in the DStv Premiership.
The Urban Warriors claimed only their third win in the league so far this season after defeating Galaxy 2-0 at Athlone Stadium thanks to goals from Ashley Cupido and Katlego Maphathe.
Despite the win, Spurs remain at the bottom of the league table with 10 points after 18 games, while the Rockets are placed seventh on the log with 24 points from 17 matches.
Middendorp was proud of his side after they fought hard to secure maximum points in front of their home crowd.
“We were supportive, in the right moment, we were covering each other and huge compliments to each and everybody,” Middendorp told his club’s official website.
Spurs will be hoping for a third victory in a row when they Orlando Pirates in their next DStv Premiership encounter at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Kick off is set for 19:30.
