Cape Town Spurs coach Ernst Middendorp has urged his side to remain humble and focus on getting positive results in their remaining DStv Premiership matches.
The Urban Warriors are on a four-match unbeaten run in the DStv Premiership, having won one game and played to three stalemates in 2024.
Middendrop’s side currently sits at the bottom of the league standings with 12 points from 20 games, while the Dube Birds occupy 14th position with 21 points from 20 matches.
Spurs will now take on Moroka Swallows in the league encounter when the two sides meet at Athlone Stadium on March 31.
“To take two points from two away games, nobody expected this. So compliments to each and everybody who was part of the Cape Town Spurs team,” Middendorp told his club’s official website.
“I’ve repeated it again and again that we need to stay humble, work hard and we will in these next three weeks.”
Cape Town Spurs against Moroka Swallows is scheduled to kick off at 15:30 on Sunday, March 31.
