Thato Mokeke has expressed his gratitude towards Cape Town Spurs following his departure from the club.
The 34-year-old joined the Urban Warriors in April as a free agent after his exit from rivals Cape Town City.
Mokeke has a short stint with the Urban Warriors, in which he made seven appearances in the DStv Premiership.
Over course of his career, Mokeke has managed to rack up 278 appearances in all competitions, while scoring two goals and registering 11 assists playing for the likes of Ajax Cape Town, SuperSport United, Chippa United, Cape Town City and Cape Town Spurs.
Mokeke has since thanked the club’s chairman, technical team and players for the opportunity to represent the club.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank the chairman Alexi, the coaches Ernst and Vasili, goalkeeper coach Moses, physio Rayno, Riedo fitness trainer and lastly the players for welcoming me,” Mokeke wrote on social media.
“Enjoyed the last 3 months after a long time and I wish you all the best for next season.”
