Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena insists that only one team pitched up during their encounter against TS Galaxy at the Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Brazilians extended their winning record to 13 straight games in the DStv Premiership following their 2-1 win over the Rockets in Nelspruit.
The win saw Sundowns open a 19-point gap at the top of the DStv Premiership standings over second placed Richards Bay after 19 matches played so far this season.
Meanwhile, the Rockets extend their winless run to five games and they remain in 12th place in the league standings – level on 19 points with Lamontville Golden Arrows in 13th position.
No, I don’t think so, I think it’s clear only one team on the pitch,” Mokwena told SuperSport TV.
“And huge congratulations to Mamelodi Sundowns and huge congratulations to this fantastic group of players, I mean how many chances did we create?
“We could have scored so many goals that’s why I don’t agree when you say ‘hard fought’ because we made it seem a little more difficult than what it was.
“But congratulations to the entire group, congratulations to the coaches, congratulations to the yellow nation.”
