Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena has urged his side to train better to better themselves and to correct certain mistakes they are making on the pitch.
The Brazilians extended their unbeaten run in the DStv Premiership to 50 games following their 1-0 victory over Royal AM at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium on Saturday.
Sundowns will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run when they face the same opponents at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Mokwena praised his side for the hard work and dedication they have shown this season but wants his side to rest and recover as much as they train.
“I tell them I want more and they look at me like I’m crazy, but I want more passes. I want them to rest more and recover,” Mokwena said as per SuperSport.
“I want them to train better, watch their matches, and do more corrections. I want them to want better performances from themselves. I want them to expect more from each other on the pitch and off the pitch. We also play with so much control and my worst feeling is when we play and there is no control.
“Control means boxes are secured. A lot of credit needs to go to these boys because we rotate.”
