Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rhulani Mokwena insists that Richards Bay will be well prepared for their upcoming battle at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium on Friday evening.
The Brazilians come into this match off the back of a comfortable 2-0 victory over Swallows FC through goals from Neo Maema and Themba Zwane at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Bay comes into the fixture hoping to extend their winning run in the league following their narrow 1-0 win over Swallows after Tshepo Mabua scored the decisive goal at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium last Saturday.
Mokwena admits his side are in for a tough battle but believes his side have planned well for Richards Bay as they look to secure maximum points away from home.
“Fortunately, Richards Bay played against Swallow so when we did the Swallows FC analysis it was like killing two birds with one stone,” Mokwena told his cub’s official website.
“We have had to do a thorough analysis on them because of the type of team they are. They won their last game 1-0 so it won’t be an easy game for us.
“Seeing where Richards Bay is on the log, their consecutive wins, and their organisation of forms so it will be a very intriguing game because they’ve got very good players.
“We’re going to ensure that we get ourselves ready for the game because we know they will be ready for battle.”
