Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena says he will field his “best team” when they take on NB La Masia in the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 at the Dobsonville Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Brazilians come into this fixture after playing out to a 1-1 draw against Orlando Pirates in their previous fixture this past weekend.
La Masia, meanwhile, shared the spoils with JDR Stars after they played out to a goalless draw in the Motsepe Foundation Championship encounter on Friday.
Mokwena has urged his side not to underestimate when they come up against the NFD side coached by PSL legend Daine Klate.
“We are looking forward to it. It’s an interesting team that we will be playing against. It is well coached and Daine Klate and his technical team have done a very good job to put the team together.
“To reach this stage of the competition means they’ve got something. The style of play is completely different as opposed to last season. It’s an interesting team with some good players who are experienced.
“We know how difficult playing NFD teams can be and that’s why we have had to work very hard to profile the team.
“There are quite a lot of the players have played in the PSL and we managed to get some of the games and also attend one of their games last week against Tuks. We are looking forward to the game, it’s going to be one interesting encounter.
“We have to try to put the best team on the pitch. There might be a couple of rotations as there were in the previous game. we will rotate and see what we can get out because we have a very difficult program coming up in the next couple of weeks.
“We have to try and make sure that everybody is ready and prepared. Let’s see what we can put together for tomorrow,” he concluded.
