Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena has already turned his focus to their upcoming DStv Premiership clash against AmaZulu following their triumph in the Caf Champions League.
Sundowns returned home from Nouakchott after beating FC Nouadhibou 2-0 at the Stade Cheikha Ould Boïdiya thanks to goals from Grant Kekana and Thembinkosi Lorch.
The Brazilians will now turn their attention back to the DStv Premiership when they welcome Usuthu to Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Mokwena says his side will get some much-needed rest ahead of their league clash and Caf Champions League clash against TP Mazembe this weekend.
“First we have to get home and recover,” Mokwena told his club’s official website.
“We have to watch this game and do our analysis on the performance. We have a mid-week match against Amazulu first, so we are taking it one game at a time.
“We’ll see what to do against TP Mazembe but first is recovery, good rest and try to be well prepared for the mid-week fixture.”
