Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena says his side are working hard to prepare themselves for their upcoming DStv Premiership encounter against AmaZulu on Wednesday evening.
The Brazilians will come into this fixture off the back of a 2-1 victory over CR Belouizdad to advance to the semi-finals of the Caf Champions League.
Sundowns also recently returned to winning ways in the league following their narrow 1-0 victory over Richards Bay thanks to a decisive goal from Thapelo Morena at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on April 25.
Following their recent run of results, Mokwena says he takes the good with the bad but revealed they have gone back to the drawing board as they prepare for the upcoming clash against Usuthu.
“A couple of weeks ago we lost to [Stellenbosch] Stellies and we were the worst team, I was the worst Coach,” Mokwena told his club’s official website.
“This is football, you have to take the good moments just like you take the bad moments, not too high in the good moments, not too low on the bad moments.
“We have a 24-hour rule so we will enjoy the game, the feeling and then get rest and tomorrow we come in to clean the game from the system and we prepare for a very difficult match against AmaZulu.”
