Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki was not happy with his side’s finishing against Royal AM but insists they will work on improving their performance in the final third.
The Glamour Boys were forced to share the spoils with Royal AM after they played out to a goalless draw at the FNB Stadium on Saturday evening.
The draw sees Amakhosi move up to fourth place on the table level on eight points with Royal, who currently occupy fifth place after six matches.
Ntseki says his side will work on improving their performance and rectify their mistake ahead of their next match.
“I think they did well,” Ntseki told SuperSport TV after the match.
“It’s just a matter of time for them to understand and have a clear tactical cohesion, in terms of the runs they make. And when they do those runs, how do we connect with them.
“I think it’s something that we can work on and the next game they will be better.
“I think it’s coachable because when you do finishing exercises it is not only on the technical side of it but also on the tactical side of it,” he added.
“To understand in which areas of the field the defenders will be and also the positioning of goalkeeper.
“But the most important thing is the execution, the technical execution. But also mentally plays a role because you need to be composed with your scoring, you need to take advantage of those chances.”
