Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki hails midfielder Edson Castillo’s debut performance against Chippa United this past weekend.
The 29-year-old made his official debut for Amakhosi in their goalless draw against the Chilli Boys in their DStv Premiership opener on Sunday.
The Venezuela international played the entire 90 minutes at the Moses Mabhida Stadium making a good impression in the heart of Amakhosi’s midfield.
Ntseki is confident Castillo will continue to grow and adapt to the club and is expecting much more contributions from the defensive midfielder.
“Since his arrival, he has been doing well and when you look at how he manages the game, it is a high level of tactical management of the game and I think with the combinations with Samkelo Zwane, him and Yusuf Maart, him and Sithebe, something will come out and we are looking for a possible contribution that he is going to make to the club,” said Ntseki.
