Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki believes his side are on the “right track” as they prepare for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
The Soweto giants failed to secure a win during pre-season after going down 1-0 to Yanga SC before conceding a 1-0 loss against Township Rollers in their final pre-season match.
Amakhosi will be hoping to bounce back when they take on Chippa United in their opening DStv Premiership fixture on August 6.
Ntseki says his side will go back to the drawing board and improve as they prepare for the season ahead.
“You can see we are on the right track. The starting XI was mainly players that came on last week so I gave all players minutes. We did okay but we have some things to work on,” Ntseki told his club’s official website.
“I wasn’t happy with the goal we conceded, but we’ll work on these things during the week in order to be ready to start the season.”
“I would also like to thank the supporters who came in numbers. It was really great to play in front of so many of our fans. It helps the players mentally and we appreciate the support.”
