Orlando Pirates have announced that long-serving top official Floyd Mbele has resigned from his post as administration manager of Orlando Pirates.
Mbele made a name for himself at the South African Students Sports Union (SASSU) before earning a career move to the Buccaneers.
He then left his post at Pirates to join Royal Bafokeng Sport as the Managing Director in August 2011.
He later returned to the Sea Robbers assuming the same administrative role he held before parting ways with the club and was responsible for much of the day-to-day running and organisation of the club.
However, Mbele has since decided to part ways with the team with immediate effect.
“Orlando Pirates has accepted the resignation of the club’s administration manager Floyd Mbele,” Bucs said on Monday afternoon.
“The Club Management wishes him the best in his future endeavours.”
