Orlando Pirates have continued to strengthen their squad after announcing the signing of attacking midfielder Karim Kimvuidi ahead of the 2023/24 PSL season.
The 21-year-old joins the Buccaneers after the club reached an agreement with Maritzburg United over his signature.
The Democratic Republic of Congo midfielder played a crucial role for the Team of Choice last season, having assisted five goals in 34 appearances across all competitions during the 2022-23 season.
The former DC Motema Pembe midfielder is one of eight new signings at the club alongside Patrick Maswanganyi, Melusi Buthelezi, Katlego Otladisa, Karim Kimvuidi, Lesedi Kapinga, Cebo Mchunu, and Siphelo Baloni.
The Sea Robbers released the following statement on the new signing which reads:
“Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce it has reached an agreement with Maritzburg United for the services of Karim Kimvuidi.”
“The Club can also confirm it has agreed a deal to send midfielder Goodman Mosele out on loan to Chippa United for the 2023/24 season.”
