Orlando Pirates were left frustrated after their six game winning run in the DStv Premiership was ended following their 1-1 draw against Royal AM at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday.

17-year-old debutant Relebohile Ratomo had a dream start in the senior team after forcing Dominguês to slot the ball into his own net early in the second half.

The Buccaneers were minutes away from clinching their seventh straight win and all three points but a stoppage time goal by Menzi Masuku ensured Royal AM walked away with a point at the Orlando Stadium.

The result sees Pirates remain in second place in the league standings with 50 points while Thwihli Thwahla climbed to eighth place on the log with 34 points.
