Stellenbosch FC has continued to strengthen their squad after completing the permanent transfer of Ivory Coast international Oura Anicet.
The Ivory Coast international joins the club from Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas and brings a wealthy of experience playing in the Caf Champions League and Caf Confederations.
The 23-year-old has also earned two caps for the Ivorian national team while also previously competing in the Armenian top-flight with Masis FC and Lori Vanadzo.
Anicet becomes one of seven new additions to the squad alongside the likes of Thabo Moloisane, Olivier Touré, Mashweu Mphahlele, Oscarine Masuluke, Genino Palace and Salifu Colley.
“Oura is a very exciting talent and exactly the type of player we need,” Stellenbosch FC head coach Steve Barker said. “He’s a very creative footballer who plays off the cuff and is very difficult to play against for those marking him.
“He has great technical abilities on the ball and possesses a lot of pace, energy and unpredictability in his game. We are very positive and confident that he will have a big impact this season.”
