Stellenbosch FC have confirmed the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs youth product Omega Mdaka.
The highly-rated defender joins the club after putting pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Maroons.
Mdaka becomes Stellies’ third signing behind Sanele Barns from Richards Bay and Ibraheem Jabaar from Maccabi Petah Tikva.
Stellenbosch Football Club is pleased to announce that the club has signed highly-rated 20-year-old Omega Mdaka on a long-term deal.
Mdaka, who most recently progressed through Kaizer Chiefs’ development ranks, has signed his first professional contract in the Cape Winelands.
“We are excited to welcome a player of Omega’s potential to the Club,” said Stellenbosch FC Chief Executive Officer, Rob Benadie.
“He has a bright future ahead of him and I have no doubt that Stellenbosch is the right place for him to develop his talent.”
