SuperSport United have confirmed the signing of midfielder Zukile Kewuti on a short term deal until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old brings a wealth of experience, having previously played for Cape Town City, Amazulu and recently Maritzburg United.

Kewuti has managed to score three goals and assisted a further two in 64 appearances across all competitions in his career so far.

He also formed part of the Citizens squad that won the MTN8 trophy back in 2018 after defeating SuperSport in a penalty shootout at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Kewuti is delighted to have found a new home for the remainder of the season and is excited to get his campaign underway at United.

Firstly I would like to thank the SuperSport United technical team for trusting and believing in me. I am very excited and overwhelmed to join this young energetic team.”

Meanwhile, SuperSport head coach Gavin Hunt is an ambitious coach and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
