Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler has his sights set on securing a top-eight finish in the DStv Premiership ahead of their clash against Richards Bay on Saturday.

The Citizens come into this game looking to return to winning ways following their 1-1 draw against TS Galaxy at the DHL Stadium on Sunday.

City currently sit in seventh place in the league standings with 39 points from 28 matches, having won 10, drawn nine and conceded nine defeats so far this season.

Tinkler is looking to secure maximum points against the Natal Rich Boys but has his sights set on defeating champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the final match of the 2023-24 season.

“I think we want to make sure that we secure that top eight position and then let’s go into that game against Sundowns with a belief that we can go there and take something away from them,” Tinkler said
