Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler will be aiming to bounce back and return to winning ways when they face Kaizer Chiefs at Athlone Stadium in the DStv Premiership on Saturday.
The two teams were scheduled to play at the DHL Stadium, but due to the Stormers taking on Ulster on the same day, the fixture was moved to Athlone Stadium.
The Citizens currently sit in fifth place in the DStv Premiership standings with 31 points after 20 games, while Amakhosi are placed seventh with 29 points from 20 matches.
City will renew their rivalry with Amakhosi and Tinkler is looking to turn their fortunes around when they take on Amakhosi in Athlone.
“Obviously, it’s the world of sport,” Tinkler told the media in Cape Town.
“You can have two draws, three draws, and then you lose. ‘Oh, you haven’t won in four games’. Or you win, ‘you haven’t lost in four games’. That’s how quickly football can change. That’s the way the media interpret things.
“It’s important for us to try to get back to winning ways. There is no better team to do it against than Kaizer Chiefs.
“I think they’re a different team than when we played them at the beginning of the season. It’s not going to be easy; it’s going to be tough.”
