TS Galaxy have announced the signing of Venezuelan winger Yaimil Medina Rodriguez from Mineros De Guayana.
The Rockets have further bolstered their attacking options by acquiring the services of the Venezuelan winger as he looks to impress Serbian-born coach Sead Ramovic in his first stint in South Africa.
Rodriguez has previously had stints in Venezuela and Spain and brings a wealth of experience having previously played for Mineros, Atlético Albacete, Albacete Balompié, Marbella FC and Recreativo Huelva.
Although he was only confirmed as a new member of the club today, the 23-year-old has already made his debut when he came on as a second half substitute to replace Orebotse Mongae to play the final 41 minutes in their goalless draw against Kaizer Chiefs this past weekend.
The Rockets have since released the following statement on their new acquaintance which reads as follows:
“WELCOME! Yaimil Medina Rodriguez.”
“Yaimil transfered from Mineros De Guayana, a professional football club that competes in Liga Venezolana, the top flight professional football league in Venezuela.”
